Galactic Empire

I’ve been a Star Wars fan for most of my life. There’s an old Hugh Fleming poster titled “Star Wars Rocks” (I’m praying this piece of fandom is still in a box somewhere in my parents’ house) that I’ve always gotten a kick out of. It depicts original Star Wars characters rocking out to a packed audience. Many moons later, Galactic Empire has brought the idea of that poster to life for me and other Star Wars fans around the world.

Fireworks (Chain Reaction. August 15, 2015)


I first saw Fireworks back in 2009 during the Gig Life tour and I’ve been watching and shooting them ever since. Naturally, it was tough to see the notice a few months back that Fireworks would be taking a break. Knowing the feeling all too well of “I wish I saw them one more time,” I couldn’t pass up the chance to watch them grace Chain Reaction’s stage again before heading into the unknown.

Riot Fest Day 2 (Chicago. September 14, 2013)

Taking Back Sunday

Day 2 of Riot Fest saw huge crowds packing Chicago buses and trains and all descending on Humboldt Park. The day was filled with a mixture of music legends and contemporary superstars. Flag, Blondie, Public Enemy, Taking Back Sunday, and Blink 182 were just a few to perform to the festival’s largest crowds of the weekend.
