The MenzingersTime seems to be flying this year. It wasn’t too long ago that the Menzingers were in town supporting Frank Turner’s headliner. But with their short set during that tour, the calendar bringing around their own headlining tour was a much-welcomed turnaround.

Due to prior engagements, I didn’t get into the venue until Tiny Moving Parts was halfway through their set. I had never seen them before but I was completely blown away by their catchy music and incredible talent. The energy they shared with the audience was amazing to see in person. It’s also a plus to watch a vocalist that can shred a guitar’s fretboard while singing. Definitely give these guys a listen and check them out in person.

The Menzingers will always be a sure thing. I can always count on them to come out and give a solid live performance, playing hits from across their storied discography. Whether it was their personal, emotional lyrics or high-intensity music, the Menzingers were able to evoke a response from the audience that just didn’t quit. Crowd surfing and sing-a-longs accompanied the band’s energetic stage show. With 2 new songs released this year and the positive response from the audience, I’m expecting more success for the Menzingers in the future.

Many thanks to Michele for helping out with the show tonight!
