The last day of Riot Fest was the day I was personally looking forward to the most. What I wasn’t looking forward to (and I’m sure everyone shared the same sentiment) was the forecast for consistent rain. More after the jump

While many festival-goers showed up prepared with umbrellas, raincoats, and boots, plenty of fans showed up with nothing but shorts and a t-shirt. Like Day 1, the last day had me running back and forth between all of the stages. The weather made this quite difficult with many areas of the park either flooded or saturated in mud. This didn’t seem to stop fans from having a great time. With bands like The Wonder Years, Reggie and the Full Effect, Best Coast, AFI, and the elusive Brand New, the weather was the least of worries for many. Instead, singing along in the rain and crowd surfing with muddy shoes was the order of the day. This was a great (although tiring) day and an amazing end to Riot Fest Chicago.
